Mechanical Variable Delivery
Pump output is regulated using mechanically controlled variable inlet ports in each piston pumping chamber. Output flow is adjusted by the linear movement of a spring-biased volume control stem. The models listed in the table deliver zero flow with the stem control in the fully extended position.

Pressure Compensated
These pumps are mechanical variable delivery with an integral pressure compensator. The compensator overrides the setting of the maximum volume control. The models in the table deliver full flow with the stem control in the fully extended position.

Electrohydraulic Pressure Compensated
Electrohydraulic volume control is achieved using a Dynex Remote Proportional Actuator (RPA). The bracket-mounted actuator strokes the pump volume control stem. Contact the Dynex sales department for information on adding electrohydraulic control to the PV6000 Series compensated models shown above.

Hydraulic Variable Delivery
Pump output is regulated by a variable low pressure signal, 0 to 180 psi (0 to 12 bar), supplied to a control port in the pump cover. Pump volume controls, including remote pressure compensators, are available.

Pump Selection Notes

Output flows are based on typical performance at rated pressure with pressurized inlet where required. PV4000 Series pumps with ports for standard S.A.E. fittings are not recommended for operation above 8000 psi (560 bar). Contact the fitting manufacturer for the pressure rating of the fitting.
Pumps listed are the most common models with keyed shafts.
These models are for clockwise rotation (viewed from shaft end).
