Replacement for Vickers MHT Motors

Dynex low speed, high torque (LSHT) hydraulic motors are interchangeable with Vickers MHT motors, which are no longer in production.

Dynex has been producing HSM Series motors for over 30 years as an alternative to Vickers. The earliest application of these vane motors was for plastic injection molding machines in the early 1970's.

You can order HSM motors to replace MHT70, MHT90, MHT130, MHT150, MHT190, MHT220, MHT250, MHT380, MHT440, MHT500. Dynex LSHT hydraulic vane motors are a physical and functional replacement.

Dynex motors replace MHT motors on injection molding machines

LSHT motors are used on plastic injection molding machines, earth augers and rock drills, oil field swivels, tunneling and mining equipment, vibratory pile drivers, hydraulic winch drives and other machines where compact direct-drive is an advantage.

Torque to 13 750 lb·ft at 2750 psi (18 645 N·m at 190 bar).
Hollow rotor provides a passageway through center of motor to simplify system design and installation.
Ideal for vertical installations on earth augers or rock drills.
Multiple speed motors, used with fixed pumps, reduce power requirements.
Optional warm-up ports equalize fluid and motor temperatures, preventing thermal shock for dependable cold-weather operation.

Rather than a round profile, the square profile in the Dynex motor provides improved cam strength.
