1969 Checkball Pump

Checkball pump manufactured in 1969 returns for service!

A lot of things happened in the year 1969. That was the year Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon. It was also the year of a certain music festival that took place in Woodstock, New York. The cost of the average new house back then was $15,550.00, and the price of a gallon of gas was 35 cents! It was also the year that the hydraulic pump shown here was manufactured.

Now the checkball design has a reputation for outlasting the competition, but even we were surprised awhile back when that pump was returned for service. We had to check some pretty old (paper) records to determine the date of its manufacture.

We can't guarantee, every Dynex pump will provide that kind of service, but there's a reason people have been using Dynex checkball pumps for over 60 years.
