Hydraulic Pumps for Water-Based Fluids

Dynex fixed displacement hydraulic pumps are compatible with a variety of water-based fluids including water glycol.

PF1300 Series:

0.31 to 1.42 gpm at pressures to 10 000 psi (1,18 to 5,37 L/min at pressures to 700 bar) at 1800 rpm.

PF4300-11 Series:

2.2 to 8.2 gpm at pressures to 15 000 psi (8,3 to 31,0 L/min at pressures to 1040 bar) at 1800 rpm.

PF4300-20 Series:

Pumps with NEW stainless steel option are functionally and physically interchangeable with standard models.

Corrosion Resistant

These pumps are assembled with stainless steel and other corrosion resistant parts. The housing and barrel assembly are treated to provide extra protection until the final coating is applied.

Single Fluid Design

In this checkball pump design, internal bearing lubrication is provided by the pumped fluid. This eliminates the potential for cross-fluid contamination which may occur in other pump designs requiring a secondary oil for lubrication.

The single-fluid design eliminates the space, labor and piping cost of a lubrication circuit. It also eliminates regular maintenance of the lubricating oil.

Oil & Gas Applications

High pressure capability and compatibility with water glycol make these pumps ideal for wellhead safety controls systems and other offshore oil & gas applications.

Pump Selection Notes

  • Output flows listed are based on typical performance using 33 SUS (1,9 cSt) water glycol fluid at maximum pressure with pressurized inlet where required. For PF4300 Series pumps, consult the Dynex sales department for a review of applications requiring operation below the rated speed of 1200 rpm.
  • Ordering these pumps requires a complete model code specifying shaft, seal and port options.
  • Models with the high pressure "H" option require the use of outlet port "A" (Autoclave/Butech fitting) or "B" (British Standard Pipe fitting). Pumps with ports for standard S.A.E. fittings are not recommended for operation above 8000 psi (560 bar). Contact the fitting manufacturer for the pressure rating of the fitting.
