Hone Operator

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed below. This list shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned for the position.

• Set up and operate manual and CNC honing machines to achieve precise dimensional tolerances and surface finishes.
  
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  
• Utilize process operation control documents for all necessary information needed for each job operation’s setup and production.
  
• Use precision measurement equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, air gages)
  
• Work closely with machinists, engineers, and quality control teams to meet production deadlines and resolve any machining challenges.
  
• Perform some routine maintenance and troubleshooting on honing machines to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
  
• Ability to work mandatory overtime.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education 

High school diploma or equivalent.
