Dynex Wellhead Control Pumps at OTC 2012

This year's Offshore Technology Conference attracted 89,400 visitors to see the newest technologies for the oil and gas industry. Products and services from 2,500 companies were displayed, making this annual show one of the largest in the United States.

Water-Glycol Pumps for Wellhead Control

Dynex water-glycol pumps perform reliably with low maintenance on deepwater wellhead control systems. The pumps operate at pressures to 15 000 psi (1040 bar). A single-fluid design eliminates the cost of a separate lubrication circuit.

Dynex pumps use the water glycol to lubricate their internal bearings. This design eliminates the potential for cross-fluid contamination, which can occur in other designs requiring a secondary oil for lubrication.

Mineral-Oil Pumps for Panel Systems

Low input-power mineral oil pumps require only 0.75 HP at 10 000 psi (0,6 kW at 700 bar). They are ideal for use with low-horsepower motors powered by solar panel systems for critical control of land-based oil wells.

With their compact size and high pressure capability they are also used for portable torque-tool power units.
