CMM Programmer
Location: Pewaukee
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Create, maintain, and run detailed CMM programs for in-house production parts, purchased components, and sub-contract machined parts. Prepare detailed inspection reports; provide input and direction to other inspectors, machine operators, engineering and purchasing personnel, and outside suppliers based on inspection results.
• Determine program requirements based on design and engineering part-specific requirements.
• Maintain the CMM equipment to ensure it is functioning properly, the calibration schedule is adhered to, and the software is up to date.
• Provide support to the Inspection Department by inspecting components, calibrating gauges,and performing other tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associates degree or some technical training preferred, plus a minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of GD&T, CMM programming, and tool/equipment selection to ensure inspection accuracy.
• Knowledge of Zeiss Calypso software preferred but not required.• Familiar with the requirements of ISO9001:2015.
• Knowledge of gage calibration.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficient math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate inspection results.
