3-5 years experience. Experience on CNC Horizontals, CNC Verticals and CNC Lathes. Must be able to perform own set-ups. Must be able to perform G&M code editing on Fanuc type controls. Experience on the following types of machines will be considered a plus: OKK horizontals, Matsuura verticals and Mori Seiki lathes.

Description:
Associate degree or equivalent experience in Fluid Power or Mechanical design preferred. Minimum 2 years’ experience in hydraulic or mechanical work. Perform a variety of duties involving lab testing of prototypes in process of development and/or manufacturing of products. Assist lab supervisor in running more critical tests of complex mechanisms or electrical apparatus. Set up standard test sets or mechanical testing devices in accordance with directions. Run tests & record test data for analysis & evaluation by engineers. Note & call attention to deviations in reactions not anticipated in prescribed test procedures. May assist in the fabrication, benchwork and assembly of models & components.

Minimum 1-3 years experience. Experience on all types of grinders. Must be able to perform own set-ups. Must be able to check parts using micrometers, bore gages, air gages & profilometer. Extremely tight tolerances must be held on both size & finish. Experience on the following types of machines will be considered a plus: Landis O.D. & I.D. grinders, Karstens O.D. & I.D. grinders, Okamoto rotary grinders & Studer CNC O.D./I.D. Grinders.

Minimum 5 years of experience and related college degree or equivalent required. Experience to directly supervise and coordinate all activities of production workers. Skilled in interviewing, hiring and training employees. Skilled in planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Skilled in general machine shop practices involving tight tolerances including CNC machining, grinding and honing. Skilled in performing first/last piece inspections of machined parts. Experience implementing best methods to manufacture components, improve existing processes, create and maintain process documentation, fixture design and CNC programming. Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite and ERP systems.
